Awesome Attorney. I retained the McCarty-Larson firm “Robin McCarty” for a family member that had gotten some serious felony charges. Robin looked up his charges, then provided his opinion and advised of some options to try and get the best results, hopefully to avoid a conviction, but made no guarantees. He was straight to the point which really impressed me. I felt he was the right man for the task at hand. I could not have made a better choice. His fee was more than reasonable and he is well worth it. Robin McCarty is an excellent attorney. He is one of the best criminal lawyers I’ve ever encountered in my life. By far one of the most communicative, effective and efficient. Additionally, he is very professional, dedicated, kind and caring. Robin was Awesome!! Had been going on 3 years of battling a dwi. Unfortunately this was not my first interaction in a court house. I only say that because some people when it is there first time and they don’t realize certain things. Like at any time the law firm is juggling multiple unique cases with unique circumstances for some very unique people. They may not be available every day at every time. Having said that, I was contacted every time that they were supposed to contact me and were prompt for court every time we went. Even arriving before me so as I wasn’t waiting for hours wondering if my lawyer forgot about the date. Any time I reached out they always got back with me and were always professional. When it finally did come time to act, instead of “scaring me into taking a plea deal” (as a bad review alleged) robin absolutely went “beast mode”. Actually advising me not to take the deal, and in less than a week he was sending me the case dismissal and interlock removal paperwork. Everything they said they would do they did. They listened to my side empathetically and didn’t rush to judgement or push me to take a plea deal bc it was the easiest and fastest way to resolve the case for them. Although many times a good plea deal is what you are hoping they can negotiate, if u feel that it’s not they will back you 100%. I usually don’t leave reviews but thought it was the least I could do for their team always going above and beyond. Thanks again yall. I will be recommending this law firm for any unfortunate events that happen to find their way into my friends and families life’s here in Ellis county.

If you are reading this then you are like me and finding yourself in need of immediate legal assistance. I can now through personal experience tell you to stop searching. You have found the right attorney you need to stand in front of you for legal protection! I was previously arrested while out on a 2 year probation and was fearful of a probation violation and possible revocation. I called many attorneys which were more than willing to take my case and even made me feel fearful that if I do not get them on the case that I would most likely be in jail soon. Of course I was quoted a few $1000 for them to get involved. I understood that this may be the case (cost wise) so I called many law firms due to my limited funds to be spend on the best defense. This is when I eventually spoke with Robin McCarty. I was scared, nervous and stressed just as you are now. I discussed the details of my arrest and situation with him and he immediatley calmed my fears. In fact he decided to contact my probation officer before asking me to hire him to determine the actual severity of the situation and call me back the next morning. I was absolutely terrified the entire night expecting to hear the same news all the other law firms churned out. To my surprise, the next morning, he told me that after speaking with my PO, I would most likely be looking at some community service at the most or a small fine. I felt such a heavy weight lift off my back and expressed such a sigh of relief! And to top this off, he did not ask for one dime!!! He only said if you ever need legal assistance in the future to not hesitate to call him. I couldn’t believe this kindness provided to me. It was unintentional but I got myself in a situation where I needed legal defense representation. I reached out to Mr. McCarty’s office, set-up an initial appointment, and I was welcomed with professional, non-judgmental service. This time last year I hired Mr. McCarty to handle my case in Ellis County. The offers I was receiving in court not pleasant to hear. This was at the time almost a 3 yr old case. I had since been in college and am near graduation. Mr. McCarty laid everything out on the table for me. I asked a ton of questions and he listened and responded to each one. His office staff always made me feel comfortable. They always kept me informed of upcoming court dates and would send a notification if I had become behind on payments. They would not harass me about missing payments like I have encountered with most all other attorneys I have used in the past. I don’t usually do reviews but considering the gravity of the situation I was in relative to the solution that was brought forward, I am very happy. I’m 24 years old and have zero experience with a process like this. Like most, I was very intimidated by the process. Who do I call? How does it work? What are my chances? What is it going to COST?
Found a lawyer beforehand that was cheaper… quite a bit cheaper. However, I fealt like he really didn’t care and was speaking at me rather than really understanding MY case. I found McCarty online. calling and scheduling a visit was EASY. People were NICE. He spent time with me and answered all my questions. It took one visit for me to decide I wanted to proceed.
It took about a year (because the DA office just doesn’t have it all together I suppose) but we finally got my case dismissed. Besides the financial burden an unexpected expense like this has, the process was simple. I was contacted several times throughout the months to get updates and they really work with you as far as what you can pay.
Overall, great experience. I know not every case can be a slam dunk, but, mine definitely was and I would certainly recommend him to friends and family. Thank you robin and your entire team. The impact you all have made on my life was very great and I will forever appreciate it.

Robin is so knowledgeable & good at what he does. He cares about his clients as a whole person & not just as someone in need of representation. He is fair & super approachable. I attempted to complete my divorce on my own to save money and it turned out to be a nightmare. I was giving up a lot more then i should have been in ordered to keep the divorce civil. I realized I was not cut out for the level of attention to detail and needed the best for my children while still being fair. I found Bria Larson after reading several great reviews. I consulted with her one time and my stress levels dropped dramatically! She gave me options that I would have never thought about and solved my problems in a way that benefitted me and my children but was also fair. Let me first start with my details. Single father who was looking to stop the nonsense with my sons mother. I was threatened to be taken to court on multiple occasions and it could not have been more stressing. I finally had enough and sought to make things better for me and my son. A friend recommended me to Bria, who was pretty much everything I had wanted for a child custody case. I explained that it was important for me to have a lawyer who understood the ins and outs of my situation as well as my goals for this case. She proceeded to lay the ground work for a successful custody case over the next few weeks. Bria was always available for any questions I had or concerns about how things would play out. She had great advice about the different choices I would be able to make throughout the process. Child custody can be ugly but she had a great attitude and understands that sometimes the way to get through to the other party is to ‘kill them with kindness’. Don’t let her positive attitude fool you though, she works hard for her clients and ultimately got me exactly what I wanted out of my situation. I have primary custody and I don’t have to deal with the threats of my son being taken away from me. I continue to reach out to Bria about questions I have about my court ordered agreement and she has always gotten me an answer without hesitation. Having her be so involved in my case during and after has really made me feel that she cares about her clients and doing what is best for them.
